Well, the planes may be safe to fly but what about my frequent flyer miles! Has anyone thought about that? Am I going to find that they all expired 99 years ago?! Seriously though, it is somewhat reassuring to have FAA officials come forward and at least address people's concerns. A lot more companies and government agencies, here and abroad, need to do the same.
