Mark, we seem to agree that the Terastore drives are not a threat
to conventional DDs (I don't add "for now" because everything in
life is "for now"). I can buy a VHS video tape for 99 cents on
sale. A data tape has to be of better media quality, but even if
that doubles the cost, it will be hard to beat with a disk.
Faster random access time is the main advantage of disks.
