I understand your concern and I feel your pain......but w/all the bad press and the whip lash they have from the previous CEO they have laid rather low.

All I can tell you and those that view/participate in this message board is to have patience.

I've seen their video hub, I've use their video hub and I tell you its all its professed to be.

Someone asked me why you would need a line driver that goes 4000 or 8000 feet. The answer is that if you have videoconference LAN to build it is not uncommon to have cable (CAT-3 or CAT-5) runs that exceed 500 foot. COREL Video and C-Phone (the only other two video LAN vendors) can not go past this point in line drivers and they have no way of using a repeator.

I've been in situations where 500 feet is quickly eated up in bends in the conduit and the physical path between the user's PC and the hub. Do you need to go 8000 feet? Probably not but it sure is nice to know that when you have to go 600 or more feet the SOE hub will get you there with plenty of room to spare.

Another use for the long runs is in a temp situation such as executive retreats and management seminars where you may have to engineer a quick temp solution. SOE has a demo kit that does just that with reels of UTP CAT-5 ready to go and laptops configured for both VTC and collaboration using Smart2000 software.

I think what you and several other investors need to do is call and then go over to their offices and have them show you what you have invested in.

I'm here if you need more tech advice on this or other VTC or multimedia products, vendors, and integrators.
