Mr. Kugler,

jd2's pole vault into my hot air balloon was succinct, and while profane, possibly quite theraputic to other posters. No offense taken, but realities were heeded. I digress.

In the post I was in such haste for include the ISO references that the last URL (not here, but in my more offensive post) is missing a lower case "c" at it's tail. which will yield a "404", hence add the "c" and you will see the URL.

The follwing is a better starting point for viewing an abstaract of the ISO structure. To those individuals you talked to who speak of it in casual terms, querey them further and ask if the realization of such certification was an easy task. Unless they were actually tasked with the overall process, they will generally attest to the pain in getting to the gain.

Not to belabor a point, but I will post other URL references along this line for enlightenment purposes only. Indeed, if SOE can/has/or even will, attain this level of competence, it is worth it's weight in lan/wan cable.

It is possible that C-MAC or possible the Q-Chip Mfg has the certification. ?? If you will skim the above, it is not likely that a singular "widget" gets the nod. It is fundamentally deeper and more complete than that.

Regards to all,

CK
