People have been predicting MSFT and INTC's downfall for years and everytime they come up for air, beat hell out of any and all competition and set the tone for the future. However, you have one in agreement with you here. How in the world is a $500 internet only machine going to be the wave of the future. I don't know about you but I do use my computer for a lot of web surfin. But I also want it for Excel, Word, BBSing and of course Quake <g> Why would I spend $500 for an internet only dumb computer when I can spend $2000 and get just about anything in computing that I would ever need? All that and storage too!
