Alan How goes it, hope all is well...
I dont think it is fair to characterize all women who have abortions as having a lifestyle choice as their reason. Weather one is for or against abortion it is important to realize that many women face extremely harsh decisions. Ones where the choices to be made fall into the lose/lose realm.
Many women are faced with pregnancies knowing that they are emotionally and/or physically unable to care for that child. The reason for their inability may vary from a lifestyle choice to drug addiction, emotional/physical/phsycological disabilities, lack of resources, homelessness, etc. That is before we even beginning to get into even more distasteful but all too real situations like rape, incest, and other horrors.
To characterize all women as frivolously making that decision because they may lose their figure, or dont want to give up a career, is somewhat insulting to the women who face very tough and all too real decisions that will probably leave them emotionally scarred no matter what they decide.
