All of this SUNW rah rah all the time. Bottom line is yes, Solaris/Unix does many things better than NT for the moment so what?

In 1990, NT didn't exist. When the first versions came out in 91/92 SUNW was scoffing at it. As the release of NT5.0 approaches in 98/99 one finds that NT has about 30+% of the market now, up from 0% just eight years ago. SUNW can scoff all it wants but there seems to be an awful lot of customers that like NT enough to buy it.

Like it or not, SUNW is feeling the heat and this whole DOJ suit is in part a ploy by SUNW to try and slow MSFT down. Unfortunately, MSFT has SUNW in its crosshairs and in the future SUNW is going down.

Regards

PS. Since you posted an article, I'll post one that says just the opposite. Perhaps you should reread this article. It kinda trashes SUNW, its service, its products and so forth
