Sorry, I was thinking tomorrow was the 11th. Make that "market price at close" buy orders on Friday or Monday, depending on exactly what time of day Ascend is added to the index on Friday. It could be argued that funds were buying like crazy today -- witness GSCO selling all the shares opposite the fund buying. But my understanding was that the fund indexes had until July 1 to buy ASND for their portfolio...theoretically they will be selling DEC at some point as well, but DEC was up 15/16. I think a) we are reading tea leaves, b) 50 is a tougher barrier than most people thought...myself included.
