After watching the the time and sales screen it looks like there was no institutional trading. I figure the market makers kept it below 7 to exterminate the last of the margined so that they would be forced to liquidate. I expect some serious short covering as we progress to Mondays script data. We will see a nice bump up in the script data come next Monday. The short positions will not be covered too rapidly so that the price doesn't spike too fast. Volume very thin today--longs not selling unless margined and shorts not covering until they can squeeze the last 1/16 out of the longs. I would bet they were buying from those who had to sell so when they cover they will make money going up just like they did going down.

Well folks, at least we don't have to worry about the effects of a market crash on stock price.<g> The way things look now, you would think it was 1929.

Still very long and not budging.
