Guys
can't figure out AMAT's great news. The revenues are down by close to 30% from prior quarter plus the profit margin decreased by few %s. It is expected that there will be an increase in revenue by 10%-15% in the next quarter which will bring it to 50% of what it was a year ago. At the same time we have read about some of the joint ventures between chip makers to build tools.
Of caurse, the numbers are somewhat better than expected but is not market overreacting just a bit? AMAT, NVLS and TNCR went through the roof. I am not saying that the new prices are not justifyed it is just I do not see why today.
Regards
-Albert
