Looks like AMD will begin volume production of the K6 in late March. This information comes from PC Week. Here is the URL:

There is even a real audio clip were you can hear how AMD Chief Technology Officer S. Atiq Raza and Group VP and General Manager Vinod Dham hope to win back OEMs after the disappointing K5. My version of real audio won't play this so I try to listen to it tommorow after I make the upgrade.
