MIKE, Do you remember when you made the first bet with me and Vivus exploded to 14+ in 2 days? On that day nothing changed in terms of fundamentals except that there was a buy recommendation. In my own mind I did not necessarily think we would hit 15 before 7 even though we needed less than a point. Every stock eventually hits a point where holders won't sell and buyers are waiting to see how the "facts" pan out. IMO we have reached that level now. Vivus trades on emotion and not earnings potential 6 to 9 months out. If I did not have my $ tied up at higher levels I would be loading the boat knowing that the medium term risk was relatively nil. I am a poor market timer but my D&D pans out in the mid to longer term. I still have a target price of 20+ by years end. This month will tell both you and I where we are heading by years end. I am sure we will be discussing things as time progresses. Good luck on your short position. You are in the money today but also learn to take your profits rather than letting ego or emotion replace logic. I had 70k locked in on MU last December at 22-23 and did not cover because I "knew" it still was not worth that much. I covered at 29 and lost all but about 15k of my profit. Many stocks are no more than trading sardines. If you would like to exchange some info on other stocks you or I follow we can talk by private mail. (don't want to litter this vvus thread with other stocks). Hey did you see what happened to that stock that is into color sciences? CCSI? I wanted to short it before buying Vivus but was afraid of being manipulated into a squeeze.
