Gerald-"Wishing it to be so and actual execution" are two very different things. >>> Their showing at
the big SMAU computer show in Milan was woefully inadequate for a company of
their importance.

But to say they don't and can't dominate the European market (at least what of it I
saw) is a joke.<<<Your statement is precisely my point. Without proper execution-how can they possibly hope to dominate outside the US?

EU browser market that you claim is 100% NSCP did not deliver a single penny to NSCP's bottom line. Anyone can downlaod a "Free" browser. Don't get me wrong-I like NSCP browser and use it myself-But my useage has not contributed one dime to NSCP.
>>>I got the impression that a lot of IS
professionals hate Microsoft. Given a choice, they would prefer a non-Microsoft
product, other things being equal.<<What else is there? Apple? Unix? EU is very backwards technology wise-MSFT has the developers and the resources to have a better shot outside the US. NSCP will get squashed trying to be all things for all people. 17 platform development will spread them too thin. They have NO int'l plan or resources to execute against IBM, MSFT and all the telcos. It won't happen. I have been contacting NSCP for the past 6 months about Latin-America....NOT EVEN A RETURN E-MAIL. They are too late.....
