Same store sales for most recent Q seem to be up 6% to 17% from last year. We'll know when earnings broken out in upcoming press release, but from the preliminary numbers, it looks like this:

$110M/69 stores vs $108M/72-79 stores year ago.

Smaller money-losing stores gone, and stores with mens' dept's comprise about 38% of LOEH's 69 remaining stores. The 7 new stores opened last year, along with the other large-format stores, should show good growth this year, as is shown by the sequential growth and same-store numbers, if my deductions and calculations are correct--
sequential sales grew, even though 10 stores closed in previous Q (Jan98).

LOEH now generating several million EBITDA per Q. Looks good.
