Your idea of a classic, being "something that everybody wants to have read and nobody wants to read", seems a bit too restrictive. According to Webster's dictionary, a classic can also mean "of the highest class; most representative of the excellence of its kind". In regards to Kevin's flaming post for which he won the Kook Award, I do think his post met that criteria of being a "classic". However, in the strict literary sense of your definition, I agree - it leaves a bit to be desired. But the award wasn't meant to be for literary expertise. <g> Ice
