TI and Westell have formed a strategic alliance that will accelerate the development and deployment of TI's DSP-based xDSL technologies with Westell's DSL Systems. This alliance will provide Westell early access to leading TI DSP technologies. The results of these efforts are expected to provide mass volume deployment of broadband multimedia services such as high-speed internet access and work-at-home and real-time video communications. The combination of TI and Westell capabilities will accelerate the emerging industry with cost-effective standard compliant systems. I get the feeling when mass deployment begins Westell will be chummy with TI. Maybe TI will buy WSTL. Just a feeling. Meanwhile accumulating around 9 seems like theft. sg
