Is the coast clear??? I am still thinking long on this issue, and wish I had better insight to the situation, as every one[situation] tends to be different, including as far apart as winter and summer. Or perhaps better stated spring and fall-with me?
I'm not much of a wiz in the savvy ways of the business world, but I have seen top executives leave for a multitude of reasons, and when it happens in a rash, it tends to bring on some real skepticism... not all warranted(yes, this might be a bullish post).
I have also in some cases maintained friendships and completely agreed with their reasons for departure.
I conceed though it's sometimes bothersome when the senior execuitives move on (however, they are all relitively young, and still eager adventurists). Sometimes shakes your own confidence level. But it does survive(again my experience).
Wake up call, most things are, and at this point, that's about where I catigorize it. Any particular statement from the company wouldn't help, and might bring on undue attention. I think Dave S. hit upon it, If you got MJ in your court, that alone is a force to be reconed with. And I know and have seen a few MJ equivilants, and it carries over to the business world as well.
I don't know where all this will lead to, but one final note(part to above). Sometimes when key people leave, it hits hard. But, and this may sound cold), When there is something deeper going on, it's part of an internal game plan to shift the structure, it usually works our.
p.s. to Greg Soster: Have you sold your stock, or have immediate plans to do so?
