I read marcelj's posts on Yahoo! OE thread.
messages.yahoo.com@m2.yahoo.com

Calling Roberta Saling is what I have been suggesting and marcelj did a great job. I don't have all the questions nor do I wish to provide only my interpretations to the answers. Even you, Maverick, should call and ask questions that concern you. One of Ms. Saling's job is to get the message out to shareholders. Marcelj answered my previous wonderment about the "consultant" Steve Hill had mentioned some time ago. They had planned to hire someone (or firm) to spread the message. Usually, the CEO and/or CFO of companies do this kind of work, but considering the small size OE is, I believe that they are too busy, not to say, too far away to do the job. Mr. John W. Beech (I mistakenly changed his name to Thomas in a previous posting, I apologize), former CFO, had to relocate to the US, to head up OE's marine division.

Maverick, why are you mixing up June and September issues. The fact that an announcement regarding the OCP-4S syndicates is due out, my guess and hopefully this month, is no way related to the consultants road trip in September. The need for the road trip is to try to educate the investment community on the investment potential of OE. These will be the individuals who have the big bucks to accumulate the stock. Many small companies need to blow their own horn for others to hear. The up coming announcement in itself will not put OE stock on the road to paradise. It make give it some spark from the small investor who is watching OE. But big institutional investor have many more choices and they must meet expectations. The consultant will not and should not go out in the field without some hard facts concerning the future for 4 stroke application. With the facts in hand, the consultant will have a better than even chance to get into the door to be able to get the attention of investment executives(men or women who have influence).

OE is an engineering firm so hiring engineers to serve at client sites is a primary function to help clients, hopefully, to apply OE technology. But generating income from these services is small potatoes to the royalty income. I would not invest in OE (this is hard for me to say) if the only income was from this type of service. And, I do not believe that S&P would have recommended OE as an investment if the only income was from engineering services. OE needs a field staff to provide the knowledge and assistance to their clients to help implement the technology onto the client's specific platform.
