Sightings of working demos are far outnumbered by credible UFO reports. Until OEMs completely dump floppies, the need for a combo drive is ZIP! Reliability concerns re. a high-performance combo drive will far exceed those of the lowly ZIP.....don't take my word for it.....the sound of silence from Sony re. release date is deafening. Sony's early claims were that SciFi price would be comparable to ZIP.....that was over $100 ago. Does the SciFi make economic sense at well under $100? If you ask me, Sony will need to strap on a mighty big pair to even introduce the dream drive. Hope you're wrong about the $4.80 quote. Also hope your hair and teeth fall out soon and you lose all your money.
