Datek SUCKS so FAR!!!!
I filled out the online application on April 15th.... TAX DAY.
I called them on May 27th to report I never received their mailing.
Three days later, I got the packet on May 30th, and when trying the username and password, I could not access Datek's site.
I called and they said that the account had been deactivated after three weeks. (now keep in mind, I just received their packet of material.) They said the account would not be activated until they receive the signed form back.
So, 2 days ago I overnighted the signed account form and included an initial deposit check. Yesterday, I got an email notifying me of my account number. Then I get a second email notifying me of a credit in my account. I STILL CAN NOT LOG IN USING THE USERNAME AND PASSWORD THEY ASSIGNED ME.
Now, this morning, after calling and writing Datek service several times, I STILL CAN NOT LOG ONTO THEIR SYSTEM. They say it will take from 24 to 48 hours to reactivate the account.
I this the type of service I can expect to receive from them?
This SUCKS! How can an online firm even pretend to be a professional service, when they take other peoples money, with the intent of providing an online trading service, and THEN NOT LET THE PEOPLE LOG INTO THE SERVICE, AND USE THEIR OWN MONEY!!!!!
