Scott - I have been watching PARQ for awhile now, and may get into it soon (I have some cash coming in the next 2-3 weeks I'd like to invest). I like Parcplace, and have some experience with their products as a systems analyst and project leader. Great stuff, but I have been in awe of their inability to market their products for a long time. I have friends who routinely develop medium and large scale applications in Visualworks, and love it, but techies make lousy sales people in my experience... The ST to JAVA idea sounds promising, and their VisualWave approach sure makes a lot of sense to me.
