Motley's initial take on Ampex was based upon the read of their storage tech analyst, Doc Jimbo. Which in turn was based upon a very cursory reading of AXC's 1994 Annual Report. It can still be found in their storage tech archives. Personally I don't read it slow. I don't read it fast. Half fast seems like the right speed. I believe their mind is closed on this company - and because the past is the undeniable past, much of the general marlet has the same attitude. A " show me" market attitude often leads to bargain stock prices of course. Show em Ampex!
