There are a lot of lessons to be learned from what has happened in recent days. I keep reading various explanations as to the great drop in price, and though I have posted this before, I will repeat it, since I am in lesson mode.
DISINFORMATION was posted on this board. Too many people told too many people, "Last chance to get in under $1.50. To the moon! 3 dollars by Friday! MONUMENTAL news to come on Monday, should shoot us straight to 3!!!!"
I know. I read all this stuff, with some caution but without enough. And I got dozens upon dozens of e-mails and letters from people asking me why things weren't happening the way they were presented. These were letters from frightened people who had read that IN ADDITION TO LONG TERM PROSPECTS, this one would also have some very quick rewards. "Crazy 8" news was supposed to be out June 8 and would send this stock soaring beyond our beliefs. On and on and on.
So people bought, in ADDITION to what they bought long term, more, selling other stocks. And THEN they realized that certain pieces of news were NOT coming, that the person saying "will hit 3 by Friday" was perhaps mistaken, etc.
These are the frightened people that many on this board like to scoff at as "weak hands." These people are in pain. And to save what they could, they bailed and we fell. This was not all MM doings, was not all daytraders, was not all a fake job, etc. etc. etc. This was DISILLUSION.
Am I bashing ICVI/MTEI? No, not at all. I still have mine and tried to buy some this morning at 0.43 but didn't make it. But will we be a 3 dollar stock come Friday? I don't think so.
This board has degenerated into hypocrisy, vulgarity, and the continual perpetration of lies. And it is filled with people who laugh at those who felt they had to sell at 50 cents. Mountain Energy deserves better investors than that.
