You make some very good points, Tom. But RDRAM will sell with new computers when Merced and Katmai are deployed, that's where a lot of their revenues will come from. Then if these boards only support RDRAM and SDRAM, consumers who own these computers will only be able to buy that type of memory, completely phasing out SIMMS and EDO. We all argue about mostly trivialities here. The fact of the matter is that Intel has decided what their roadmap will be and the industry will follow, to Rambus' benefit. The only thing that could kill RMBS now is Intel, reneging.
