bill: CEO's considering friendly merger opportunity usually have close partnership working relationships, not complete silence... LU seems more likely than beleagured 3Com, which is drowning in USRX. 3Com can't make investments with distant payoffs (WSTL) after USRX, however, LU loves promising new technology.
