OEM sales also mean much lower disc tie ratios. Like 0. Or 1. With the average shipping hard drive now over 4 gigs, the need for additional storage by the average user is remote.

Hmmm...so what does this say about potential tie-ratios for Sony's HiFi drive? In fact, if nobody really needs high capacity disks why bother replacing the 1.44Mb floppy at all?
