A gridded area, which consists of 90 kilometres of grid lines established by work crews in late May, and was surveyed by Lamontagne Geophysics of Kingston Ontario. The survey, which is the first phase of planned exploration for this years field work also included an electromagnetic borehole UTEM 4 survey of hole OK-M1 to a vertical depth of 1500 metres (4915 feet). The results of the surface UTEM 3 and borehole UTEM 4 surveys being interpreted by Lamontagne will be available later this month. These results will be used to carry out further drill testing of a coincident electrical and magnetic anomaly occurring on the property. This anomalous zone has been the focus of Gallery's exploration activities in northern Labrador during the past 3 years. This exploration work on the Okak Bay project has yielded very encouraging results to date. Mr. Bruce Costerd reports, that he has been advised by project manager Victor French that Lamontagne Geophysics survey crew is presently being mobilized to the Harp Lake 2 project located 175 kilometres south of Okak Bay. A large loop UTEM 3 surface survey will be carried out over the next few days with the results being made available later this month. The work crews have been establishing 40 kilometres of grid lines over the Harp Lake 2 property from which other geophysical surveys will also be carried out. The information from the various geophysical surveys will be used in directing a second phase diamond drilling scheduled to commence in July.
