ThrustMaster Second Quarter Results to be Below Analyst's Expectations

HILLSBORO, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 8, 1998--ThrustMaster, Inc. (NASDAQ:TMSR - news), today announced that it expects its second quarter 1998 revenue to be below analyst's revenue estimates.

''Our North American revenue is not likely to reach expectations due to slow retail sales of personal computers and accessories including game controllers,'' said Stephen Aanderud, President and CEO of ThrustMaster. ''We believe slow retail sales are in part due to consumers delaying purchases until after the Windows 98 introduction later this month.''

At this time in the quarter, the Company expects revenue will be between $4 million and $5 million. The Company's second quarter ends June 30, 1998. Actual quarterly results are expected to be announced before the end of July.
