RD, Nbc bought < 5% of C/NET which at that point valued the company @ >525M. Now C/Net doesn't have much revenues, and w/SNAP would be losing money for a time to come. The point is it validates on a large level the valuations being given these companies (at least for now :-)). Do I think they are worth it? Not really, but the winners that come out of the sector will reward the shareholders WHENEVER they go long (long term i.e.) Which ones will that be? Ah, therin lies the rub. Amazon IS ridiculously valued I agree, in a low margin biz, with HUGE competitors. Dave
