Yet more on CRUS.... A Dutch company - Philips NV - may be interested in CRUS. Philips is a major force in chips and technology for consumer electronics. According to Dutch newspapers, the company is looking for an American semiconductor division (Motorola was also mentioned). Chairman Mike Hackworth has ties with Philips via Signetics, were he came from. Philips is also a player in the recent MediaMax press release, and the Crystal consumer audio division has been dealing with them. w.
