I got tear gassed at a party in college. Few hundred people in a courtyard checking out a band and drinking, the cops show up in full riot gear (there had been a riot on Cinco de Mayo over a party bust weeks earlier) and just stand there and don't do anything. People start coming back to see the cops in the riot gear. Someone throws a plastic cup at them and <plooof> they gas us all. The crowd runs to another party, starts chanting TEAR GAS TEAR GAS and the cops come there and there goes the gas again. One canister got shot through the window of a local news van. Just can't mess with UofO students when it comes to their parties. Overall, a totally stupid event, but funny to think about.........
