IDC ranks Dell as #3 for worldwide PC shipments across all categories in Q1. Dell and IBM are neck and neck while HP's 4th place position is now falling well behind. Here is the top four: Compaq 2,748 IBM 1,671 Dell 1,605 HP 1,365 Dell made a substantial sequential increase in volume while the others experienced their traditional Q4/Q1 decline. Quite impressive.
