John: Speed is the essential element of higher PC function. Improved graphics is just one facet of what the new faster systems will have to offer. Artificial Intelligence will require massive computing power, and will play an integral role in homes of the future. Your computer will probably be maximizing the energy efficiency of your house while doing a thousand other things. I have a 4 month old son and I expect my computer will be playing a very inportant role in actually teaching him higher level math. Increases in Internet bandwidth will enable processors to be better utilized in communication tasks. Just my opinion. JLR
