Pat,

Have you noticed, like j rector said, that the price of Amati is about the same as when your original list was posted? It seems that given all the positive developments, and particularly Hong Kong, that we should hear some upgrades from Wall Street or see some buying interest soon. After all, it hasn't been hype; it's the real thing.

Secondly, this is probably just the first salvo for NEC of this delivery system in a small part of a small corner of the world, and still it is worth 300 million dollars to them. The growth opportunities are immense. It seems Amati's technology can't be leapfrogged because they've leapfrogged themselves. Is any body even close to the implimentation of FTTC/VDSL marriage? With Amati's VDSL already running in 1997, they may become the defacto standard with minor tweaks.
