Richard D: don't be too certain about AMTX's direct involvement in NEC/HK announcement.
This is just speculation, because NEC's announcement didn't mention DSL explicitly.
There are all kinds of channels or combinations of channels for multimedia services.
I'd rather wait for the real news. As for the patent issue, I'm not sure if AMTX has
also filed patent overseas. Correct me if I'm wrong, patents filed in US only are
not protected overseas.

Pat M: you mentioned Cioffi's speech transcript in London, I think it's the GlobalCom'96.

As for John Paris, he has been posting in AWRE so often, folks there had to open another
thread. Apparently, he is trying to shake down AMTX to boost his AWRE stock. I have nothing
against AWRE, but this kind of "shareholder" gives me the chill. Conversation with him always ends up
