It makes sense and it is what happens automatically. You can't
stop it.

That is, both these instances run from the same executable,
but they do not share their memory space.

Of course, they still share their application-specific reaources,
such as your bookmark files, mail folders, etc. And they can
definitely get into a squabble over these things and crash.

But if they do (unless they've poked NT in a soft place, which
is no kidding pretty unusual), they will bring themselves down,
and maybe bring each other down (due to the external interactions,
not due to scribbling in each others' memory spaces), but they
will NOT bring other apps down. Unless they upset a video
driver or something (which browsers have been known to do).
