Elsewhere in the options market:

- Speculators are still concentrating on Bay Networks
Inc., despite two takeover rumors in as many weeks that
have failed to materialize.

Trading volume remains strong, and call buyers aren't
deterred that the networking-hardware company's stock
has fallen for several sessions.

In the morning, the June 30 calls sold off, but traders
began buying that contract, along with the July 30 and
32 1/2 calls in the afternoon, a trading source said.
