TA revisited.

If you want to learn TA just get a free beta TA software from people like Omega Research. It will plot all the indicators you will ever need. It will explain all the indicators that you never knew before. I use Wall street Analyst myself and an upgrade. We don't teach people to read books, when you can have the best software to do the job for you. When you use the software, you can see which indicator works for you. Most don't.

Reading books and practice paper investment never works, because your own trade can be the variable missing in the price movement. If you like these TA guys, just listen to all the big money they made. They never tell you the gains and losses. I just hate those gurus trying to show off, then lose your money for you. Most TA guys don't invest, they teach.

John Murphy, technical analyst at CNBC never could call the price movements right. And he is gone now on CNBC. If you like TA, go to "Technical analysis for beginners" thread. The enthusiasts' group used to meet in N.J. each year. Richard Estes gave up and left; and came back occasionally. At least, he is honest and knows his stuff. TraderX is just reading books and writing what he read. Where is his performance?
