CAP,
According to this record Shant hasn't sold any stock. Popa may have made a few bucks depending on how much he put into it. Interesting news from Bosch. Found a link for one article but not the second one from my news service. Interesting that the technology is alive, but the pioneer is just breathing. Looking at the volume today indicates a big dump by some one or short selling by the vultures.

Telecom Americas Selects Bosch Telecom as the Network Integrator, Equipment Provider for the South American Market

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 10, 1998--Bosch Telecom and Telecom Americas L.L.C. (Telamco) today announced jointly that they will install two advanced, integrated voice, data and video networks in Latin America.

As equipment provider and network integrator, Bosch Telecom will deploy the industry's first fully-integrated Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM), fiber optic and Local Multipoint Distribution Services (LMDS) network in Buenos Aires, Argentina, by the end of the year. Bosch Telecom will also provide overall network integration for the ATM and Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) network for Monterrey, Mexico, which will include telephony switching services by the end of the year. Network expansion is planned for other cities in Argentina and Mexico as well.

"Our relationship with Bosch Telecom gives Telamco access to technology and financial resources which will enable us to efficiently meet the explosive business demands for broadband data, video and voice services that are not being met by the traditional service providers," said Rodolfo Beeck, chairman of Telamco.

This multi-year agreement to build an extensive telecommunications network has a value in excess of $130M. The Letter of Intent includes terms and conditions which will form the basis for definitive vendor and vendor financing agreements upon the completion of certain actions related to those agreements.

In a separate press release, Bosch Telecom, Inc. today announced that it has formed a strategic alliance with Cisco Systems, Inc. to develop and market multiservice, broadband wireless networking solutions.

The planned network architectures for Mexico and Argentina include Bosch Telecom's SDH and Cisco Systems' IP+ATM solutions to handle the increasing bandwidth demand in both countries.

"Telamco recognizes the increasing need for effective and efficient solutions that can be modified as market requirements change," said Ed Cantwell, CEO of Bosch Telecom, Inc. "With more than four years of experience developing LMDS networks and our strategic alliance with Cisco Systems, the team is prepared to provide Telamco with the quality, flexibility and cost-competitive solutions needed today."

Initial service will be offered to large and medium-sized customers such as banks, medical facilities, private companies and government office buildings.

Bosch Telecom's LMDS product, SpectraPoint, is a fully integrated network solution that supports the numerous service offerings targeted for the LMDS market, including telephony, high-speed data and multimedia applications. The SpectraPoint family includes both point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless access products, which offer the service provider the greatest degree of flexibility in the use of both dedicated and shared access solutions. The product is managed by Bosch Telecom's Open NSU, a highly flexible and proven network management system that provides seamless integration with and management of other systems and network elements. SpectraPoint service offerings span business modeling, market analysis development, installation and network design and integration.
