now is the time to make your move, my friend. this baby is gonna split 2-1 early next month. the long bond is on its way to 5 1/2 %. forget new home buyers, and refinancing, this means that valuations will/can go higher. i.e. Dow 10,000. we've already broken out of the old high, and will probably continue up, at least until after the split. i'm heavily invested in Dell, just like you are. so, think of it that way. HD is in a pre-earnings run-up, with solid management, like the man said, and a future. you definitely want to be there. just my thoughts though.
