Terrence, you said, "God does not and never has created technology, or any type of real, usable knowledge at all. " The idea is that God works thru His creation to bring about the betterment of mankind. Working with imperfect beings, He slowly but surely brings them to a higher level of understanding. As we can accept it and use it, He gives it to us. Jesus had this problem with the original disciples, at first they could not see the Kingdom of God because they thought it would be an earthly kingdom, when in reality it is a spiritual kingdom as evidenced by the King who has a resurrected body.
