Rig counts:

According to Baker-Hughes, the oil rig count has taken a 40% hit
over last year, totally concentrated in land drilling.
The gas rig count on the other hand is higher than last year.
So it looks like gas drillers should pull through with decent
numbers...unfortunately B-H doesn't tell you what rates are looking
like.

I'm basically trying to reassure myself that UTI isn't going
to 0. I like the volatility of land but only want to experience it
in one direction.
