Ed,

Any MF manager who held this down to 4 or 5 would be unlikely to still have a job if he bought in the 30's. I don't want to give them too much credit, but they have to have a discipline that says they get out after a certain percentage drop. My guess is that the Montgomery recommendation was to suck in the last public momentum players. It never ceases to amaze me that anyone pays any attention to those people, especially if they know anything about the long term record, and more importantly, how it is measured.
