That's what it means to me anyway. Does that make any sense? It's one of those catchy terms that gets used and overused, but can never really be measured. But then, the only marketing class I took was the required one, so perhaps I just don't get it. I don't smoke cigars either. Bob, I took a lot of marketing classes to get my MBA. I know I am showing my age, but mindshare was never a term in the early 70s. It is a hype term to me and has no real meaning in my opinion. I do smoke a cigar now and then.
