>>I would look at some of the networkers during this decline, particularly CSCO and ASND (stay away from CS it looks cheap and may become cheaper) at few bucks below where they are. There bullish patterns are intact.<<

Cisco and Ascend, two of my favorite networkers. Only problem is, they haven't pulled back in spite of all the bad tech news. I watch them very closely, relative to about 30 other tech stocks I track. These two haven't pulled back.

I sold my positions (with profits) in both of them two months ago, thinking they would retreat with the rest of the techs. Much to my chagrin, they didn't. The Sprint news (ION) which was blasted over the entire continent, kept them up. By the way, I can go back three years and pull the same type of news out that Sprint just announced. Sprint's announcement was nothing new. It was just masterfully pulled off.

Anyway, my point is that these two have been very strong and have not pulled back. As a matter of fact, most networkers have not. I have no idea if they ever will? I'm very eager to get back into them myself.

By the way, Ascend was absolutely in the dog house one year ago. Investors wanted to lynch Mory back then. What a difference a year makes!
