I think it was O'Neill who said it, and it's true. I'm still batting 1.000 as a shorter, but the profits are meager, and the risk, as you pointed out once, are theoretically infinite. I played NSCP about as well as I realistically could (given my greed), and made less than 12%--in a trade where my risk was at least equal, and probably greater, given the stock's tendency to gap up (5 out of 8 mornings I held it--that took patience).

I know it seems like aftershave in afterthought's clothing, but IMHO, HCIA's 50% gain was a total fluke--not only a non-PGDCEB play, but a non-PGDCEB play that comes at a time (yes, it's still moving today) when even card-carrying cats were doing nothing but picketing the House: "DougIvan9 Unfair to Felines." "Bring Back Senor Esteban!!" etc. You know, or probably invented, the rule that cats that fail to obey signals are considered too perilous to play, and HCIA filled that bill. You also know that 50% is highly unusual for a cat.
Oh, that's right, you hinted it was a new category: PGDMEB.
