Dug, I am on my way out to the show. Some comments.. It seems ADSL is bigger than imagined. IMO one of the reasons rollout is so slow. The telcos need to improve the capacity of the backbone.. A couple of thought. First IMHO, the RBOCs are going to be the biggest winners. First, selling bandwidth to six pack joe will over time be a hugh revenue stream. Second, thanks to the fiber guys. The telecos can increase bandwidth without spend the real dollars on infrastructure. Went to the show on tues.. 1) It seems the dr. was right on the wstl/dsc-cap. ALA will have to licence the tech to resell outside of BA. Also, that solution only works with wstl modems. I will post later
