Bill, There was a previous poster who suggested that the Open acquisition might prevent an acquirer from taking over Borland for a certain time frame. Does anyone know if this is true? I do think that if anyone is interested in buying Borland, now would be the time to do it. If you were interested in acquiring them, wouldn't you think that there was a decent chance that all of there new products might generate some hype and profits to move the stock price? With all of the excitement about C++ Builder, Delphi 97, and Open JBuilder- all of which will hit the market in the next six months- it seems to me that now would be the time to make the move. Those products combined under the umbrella of a stable entity will make waves... Tim
