"Jon, myself and others have already presented proof to you that a merger is in the works" So, why don't you submit the proof to the company spokesperson, and get them to acknowledge it? Wouldn't it be more useful to convince the company itself than to convince me? Wouldn't it be a big positive for this stock if the company would stop using the ambiguous term "business combination" in their press releases, and start using "merger", which is clear as a bell? Maybe you can lobby the company to hire me to write their press releases! ;)
