I'm also here to learn! But stocks have 3 sides, those that are rose colored, those that are black, and then there is reality. If you follow the history of this board, before a few naysayers came aboard every poster was touting this stock as the next DELL, or whatever. One or two naysayers came aboard and they were viciously and personally attacked. That's when the nastiness started, it was by the TVL long supporters. And what has happened since, the stock has collapsed and all those mysterious no name TVL supporters (coyote,blue ice, fewbucks,golong,mac) showed up to attack (all in march 98-check their profiles). The lower the stock went, the greater the personal attacks. And more of the real story has come out, the market value of TVL was out of whack, questionable book value of the company, TVL is not the only player, surveys tell you set-top boxes may not sell well, even DES says this is a high risk play, and it now seems even to be riskier. And remember TVL is selling at over 12 x's last years revenues, and the company has probably lost money net for the last 3 years. Maybe you should be praising TZ for bringing these points out, not screaming at him. He didn't make the market go down, others saw these problems too, TZ was just the only one willing to share that info, and probably because all those personal attacks pissed him off. Ya know if you asked DES to analyze TVL the way he wasted everyone's time on attacking ACRI, maybe he would have told you about these problems too. In summary, I learned a lot in the last 3 months.
